Bailee Schnell

I am Bailee Schnell, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker supporting adults in Montana who are wanting extra support or understanding of themselves in their life. Many of my clients are also members of the LGBTQIA+ community, but more so they are high functioning individuals like you who find themselves struggling with persistent symptoms of depression and anxiety without an easily identifiable cause.

I help individuals explore and understand their past relationships and experiences, while also providing some insight on the psychological biology that occurs as a result of these experiences and relationships. We work together to identify and clarify your core values that serve as a guide as we work to challenge problematic thinking patterns, implement boundaries with those around you, and navigate challenging life situations with grace.

I help individuals like you move from a place of uncertainty, self-scrutiny, and anxiety, to a place of authenticity, joy, and self-acceptance.

A BIT ABOUT ME

  • I firmly believe you are the expert on you. You know what is working for you, and you know what’s not. I’m not the type of therapist who is going to come in and start instructing you on changes you need to make to improve your life. Instead, I want to create a safe space for us to explore what is or isn't working for you in an organized way, while also offering educational insights, such as psychoeducation on the brain, trauma, nervous system regulation, or attachment theory. You are the boss when we are in session, and you lead the way as I support you.

  • I was born and raised in Wyoming, and have lived in Montana for the past eight years. I was a passionate foster parent for about four years, which resulted in the adoption of my daughter and son as a single parent. I feel passionate about helping those who have overcome traumatic backgrounds and generational trauma, and about supporting others however possible.

  • Educationally, I have my Bachelor’s of Social Work from the University of Wyoming and my Master’s of Social Work from Walla Walla University. I am Licensed in Montana (BBH-LCSW-LIC-52793). I am trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and utilize aspects of narrative therapy, mindfulness therapy, solution focused therapy, in addition to orienting myself in attachment theory and feminist theory.

Everyone can benefit from more support. You deserve to be happy and feel better. Schedule your free consultation today to start being intentional about finding healing.
